Our working relationship with Nicola and Jamie Stephenson began around Christmas a few years ago, when we had just started advertising our new Workshop Kitchen range.
Keen to see our artistry in closer detail, they made the trip down to Bristol to meet the team and get a feel for the business. To give them an idea of what some of their kitchen units would look and feel like, we put together some units specifically for their visit.
Having met the family, team & dog and confirming they were happy to proceed, we got to work on designing their dream kitchen. Tom, one of our in-house designers, took the reigns and, using their measurements, developed a beautiful, functional kitchen that met their requirements.
The next project was their downstairs bathroom; we used similar units to their kitchen, with additional built-in accessories such as the Studio Towel Rail & Toiler Roll Holder.
Over the last few years of working with the Stephensons, we’ve also designed and manufactured various pieces for their beautiful home, including shelves & brackets, bespoke sliding doors and accessories.
Our most recent piece is their 6-seater, custom-made, hexagonal dining table with matching dining chairs. The Hex Table & Chairs is a work of industrial genius, fitting perfectly into the space they had available for a family-friendly dining area. The base of the Hex Chairs slot into the bottom of the Hex Table in a convenient, space-saving design.
Working with Nicola & Jamie is always a pleasure, and we’re grateful that we were allowed to send our photographer into their ‘Steel Vintage Showroom’ to capture it in all its glory.
We can’t wait to see what other plans they have for us to work on together in the future.
