Brunel is arguably the most famous engineer to have lived having worked on many revolutionary projects including railways, bridges and ships. The elegantly designed features of our unique Brunel Pedestal desk make it a truly remarkable piece of industrial furniture paying homage to an inspiring engineering icon.
Design and construction.
The hand fabricated base is made from precision laser cut mild steel and riveted for an authentic industrial look. The 50x25mm box steel top frame with lattice details ensures that the 40mm thick timber sits perfectly flat. Additional features include, brass plated frame bumpers, solid brass bolts and adjustable feet for levelling. Each pedestal includes two drawers with the largest suitable for A4 suspended hanging files. A full length cable tray along with a number of carefully designed cable holes makes cable management simple.

Assembly details.
All of our office desks come with detachable legs as standard. There are 6 x M8 bolts that attach each leg to the frame using the supplied 5mm Hex key. The cable tray and privacy panel also bolt to the main frame.
