Inspired by industrial machine bases found in old engineering workshops.
Engineers were the pioneers of the industrial revolution. By experimenting, inventing and creating they helped form the modern world giving us advanced machinery, architecture and manufacturing.
Design and construction.
The hand fabricated legs are made from 80x80mm folded steel which is 3mm thick and secured using industrial grade rivets. The 50x25mm box steel top frame ensures that the 40mm thick timber sits perfectly flat. The 8mm thick steel feet come with felt pads to offer floor protection. Please note the Engineering Table (Model 1) has been discontinued.

Assembly details.
All of our tables come with detachable legs as standard. There are 6 x M8 bolts that attach each leg to the frame using the supplied 5mm Hex key.
