Great Western Railway, running between Bristol and London. Completed in 1841, the railway is, to this day, an essential link between these two major cities.

The main inspiration for our new collection comes from the old passenger sheds found at Bristol Temple Meads, with the exquisite roof supports being used for the main arch section for both pieces of the collection.

The solid cast iron wheels found on both The Great Western Table and The Great Western Desk nod to the steam trains that initially ran on the line.

The Great Western Table

Composing hundreds of delicate, hand-finished elements, The Great Western Table is an exuberant collaboration of traditional engineering and original artistic flair. The central arch was inspired by the passenger sheds found at Bristol Temple Meads, while the breathtaking leg design combines influences from steam trains and other elements in some of our previous designs.

The Great Western Desk

The second height-adjustable desk in our collection, The Great Western Desk, combines modern technology with classic industrial engineering. The built-in electrical lifting mechanism allows the user to control the desk’s height via a control panel or BlueTooth. If you’re looking for a desk that shows people you mean business, then look no further.

Other design elements include various solid cast brass and iron badges throughout both pieces of the collection. As well as the years of Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s birth and death, which you’ll find hidden on both designs.

Our new collection needed to celebrate the exceptional engineering that created the Great Western Railway. It was vital for us to acknowledge this in the designs whilst also incorporating our original artistic flair.

We hope you love our new collection as much as we do.
