The Pilot Table
A table where conversation and admiration take place.
SKU: HTAB011
A striking piece of engineering. Inspired by locomotive design.
The Pilot is the device mounted at the front of a train to deflect obstacles on the track that might otherwise cause a derailment.
Design and construction.
The base of the table is fabricated from precision laser cut 10mm mild steel plate. The fully welded legs and arch section are bolted together using M16 fixings providing a solid structure. The 50x25mm box steel top frame has an additional steel lattice overlay with steel corner bumpers. The timber top comes with an optional impressive heavily distressed hole enabling viewing through to the heavily engineered base beneath. A 10mm clear glass top provides a smooth and practical work surface.
