Warehouse Home: Industrial Interior Design Specialists

Steel Vintage Blog - Warehouse Home: Industrial Interior Design Specialists

It’s always exciting when we meet people who share the same passion as we do. Warehouse Home is the company behind the world’s leading magazine about industrial, vintage interior style and decor so they know a thing or two about how you can transform a living or work space with industrial flair. Let’s take a closer look at who they are and what they do.

Their Story

Warehouse Home was founded in 2014 by Sophie Bush, who realised the potential of the industrial furniture and decor market when she bought an apartment in a grade II listed warehouse conversion in east London.
Industrial style has had a boom in popularity in recent years so naturally, this was a smart investment. And Warehouse Home has surfed the wave of this trend ever since. In just over 3 years, their magazine is now read in over an astonishing 100 countries worldwide.

Warehouse Home magazine is produced twice a year with their highly anticipated June and November releases. Each edition features the very best tips, inspiration and professional advice about vintage, industrial aesthetic in lofts and warehouse spaces. So if you are longing for that unique, industrial New York style loft look in your own home or workplace, then Warehouse Home magazine is definitely worth checking out.

What They Do

The Warehouse Home business is not just confined to the magazine publication. They also have a professional interior design studio, an online store, a book and even more coming very soon.
The Warehouse Home interior design studio team provides a specialist interior design and sourcing service to add industrial, vintage style to any project. They work directly with property owners and developers, keeping them at the heart of what they do all the way from concept to conclusion.

They have worked on all sorts of different projects from sourcing individual industrial pieces to creating entire room schemes. One of their most high profile successes came when they were asked by property developers Urban Splash to create a distinctive show apartment in one of Manchester’s last Victorian mills into loft apartments. When the design team were finished with it, the building, called Brownsfield Mill, was named by The Times as one of the best places to live in the UK.

Their online shop is a relatively new addition to the business and it allows their readers to buy what they have seen featured in the magazine. Every product in the store has been carefully selected to ensure that it will suit an industrial style in any home. We are particularly fond of their lighting range. They have so many unique industrial designs and styles available.

The Warehouse Home has also produced a
book filled with pictures from remarkable industrial home spaces around the world. It contains over 300 pages of pure interior design inspiration, which is well worth a look.

Warehouse Home paint is another area that they are branching out into. Later this year, they will be releasing their first paint range. The collection of colours have been thoroughly researched and tested to make sure that they fit with and complement an industrial theme.
It’s great to see Warehouse Home growing and raising awareness of industrial design and proving how good it can be. We hope that continues for a long time to come. If you would like to find out more about them visit mywarehousehome.com
