After the great success with supplying the furniture for the Michelin Star restaurant Casamia we were asked to supply a very different style of furniture for their new business, Pi Shop Pizzeria.

Once again the location for their new business venture was the Grade II listed building of the former Bristol General Hospital situated on the harbour side in central Bristol. Situated opposite the original family run Casamia restaurant the pizzeria would enable them to offer quality handmade pizzas in a relaxed and stylish interior.

The theme for this project was a light and comforting look with quality materials including bright galvanised steel, off white wood and copper details.

Cosy 2 and 4 person tables with matching stools/benches were carefully designed to fit the quirky space of the listed building. A 4m long bar table and high stools were also provided to utilise a tight space looking out from inside the restaurant.

Overall the project was very successful and meant we got to work for a third time with the Sanchez Brothers team on their 2nd Michelin Star restaurant Paco Tapas (click to read more on this project).

Customer Testimonial

“Working with Jon, his family and their team at Steel Vintage has been brilliant. We can be very difficult customers, with tight deadlines and specific ideas but it seemed Steel Vintage were up for the challenge. Their professionalism and workmanship is second to none, but it’s their dedication to get the job right, no matter what it takes, that really impressed us. We feel really lucky to have such a business in Bristol!”
