On Sunday 25th June, 10 Steel Vintage member laced up their trainers and headed to The Downs in Bristol to take part in the Race For Life Pretty Muddy.
The 5k run consisted of various different mud-related obstacles, from navigating through a spider’s web to crawling through tunnels & under cargo nets before finishing by sliding down the mudslide.
The group got incredibly lucky with the weather, with it reaching over 20 degrees – the perfect temperature to be covered in mud and buckets of water.
Cancer Research UK is a charity close to all of our hearts, so we want to help make transformative steps in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
As many of you know, Steel Vintage donated a beautifully crafted coffee table and various accessory bundles to the cause. We offered any £10 donation an entry into the raffle for this table, and we have been blown away by everyone’s generosity!
We managed to raise £1,775 for Cancer Research UK.
