International Orders

Ordering furniture from another country can be daunting. We're happy to help.

Our first international order was in 2015 to a company in Florida called Blackbird Ordinary. We were asked to supply a range of tables and benches for their outside bar area; this order made us realise the potential to sell internationally.

Since then, we have supplied furniture and accessories to a range of different projects worldwide, from the US to Europe and even further afield like Japan and Australia.

We love working on large projects abroad as it allows us to show our ability to fulfil our customer’s requirements without ever meeting in person. A great example of this is the significant office refit we completed for Planet 13 in Las Vegas.

So, how does it work?

We appreciate it can be a daunting task ordering bespoke furniture from abroad, but let us reassure you – we try to make each buying process as smooth as possible, whether you’re just down the road from our Bristol workshop or on the other side of the world.

We treat our international orders the same as any other in the first instance; read our order process.

Due to the shipping costs for international orders, when purchasing online, you will be taken to the order page where we will request your details, then we will be in touch directly to complete your order and provide you with a shipping quote. We do this because the price of shipping depends significantly on the items you purchase (due to weight and size). We also feel this is the fairest way to ensure customers are not paying a blanket fee for delivery (which may come in a lot higher than necessary).

Our friendly sales team is always on hand to respond to emails and contact form submissions, so if you would instead place an order this way and experience our first-class customer service, do not hesitate to get in touch.

As each of our pieces is made-to-measure, we have provided customers with a breakdown of each stage of our order process so that you know where you are with your order.

The international delivery process is a little different, so we explain that for you below:

Step 1

As soon as your order is ready for dispatch, it will be carefully wrapped & packed into a heat-treated crate.

Step 2

The selected International freight forwarding company will arrange collection from our workshop.

Step 3

Be prepared to hear from the courier with regards to paying any import tax (depending on country of delivery).

Step 4

International delivery includes drop-off at a pre-arranged, mutually convenient location (such as a carpark, driveway or garage).

Step 5

Our furniture is heavy but can be easily assembled. We can also provide full instructions upon request.

Step 6

You will need to arrange for the crate & any additional wrapping materials to be disposed of.
